This error typically happens on initial (new case) filings if user has selected eFile and Serve as a filing type.
Fix:
- Please navigate back to the "Filings" section and ensure all filings are selected for eFile Only, not eFile and Serve.
- Remove the Service Contacts you added or an Error 98 may also occur.


Since this is an initial filing, if desired, you can still add your email to the Service section. However, if you are getting this error, the court has had the site configured so that electronic service by email is not allowed for an initial filing.

If you check the configuration on the older (or "legacy") version of the website against the new version with same location and case type, the legacy version will only have the eFile only option, whereas the new version is displaying the eFileAndServe option. If you still experience this error message after switching your Filing Type to "eFile Only," try removing the Service Contact you added to resolve the error.
