This error is due to a new Service Contact being added to a filing where you have added a mailing address when one is not required. If any mailing address information is missing after adding the mailing address, the system will prompt this error.
To resolve the error, remove the Service Contact entirely instead of editing the Service Contact's information. Re-add the Service Contact with ONLY the first name, last name, and email address, since those are the required fields. Save the draft and exit back to the Dashboard, then resume the draft and you should be able to progress without further incident.
If the Filing Type is "eFile Only" for a new filing and this error persists, remove the Service Contact entirely and do not add it back. Leave the Service Contacts section blank and move forward to the Fees section instead.
- You may still encounter the same error message after re-adding your Service Contacts and resuming your drafts, however. You can remove the Service Contact again, then save and exit your draft before re-entering your drafts, then re-adding the Service Contacts without the mailing addresses and phone numbers.
- You may also encounter this error if you edit one of the existing Service Contacts. If you encounter this error after editing a Service Contact, try either undoing the edits you made or deleting the Service Contact.
CALIFORNIA, GEORGIA, & INDIANA: If you must add a mailing address for Mail Service to be performed, please ensure that you are adding ALL required information.
