CAPTCHA is a security process that verifies if the individual accessing a website is a human being and not a malicious script employed by bad actors trying to hack into a valid existing account. We use CAPTCHA puzzle tests in addition to the standard username / password process to improve website security and better protect your efiling accounts.
To solve a CAPTCHA puzzle test, start by reading the instructions carefully. If it's an image selection type (like "Select all squares with traffic lights"), click all the matching images. If the image refreshes after you click, keep selecting until no matching images remain, then click “Verify” or “Next.”
If it’s a text-based CAPTCHA with distorted letters or numbers, type them exactly as shown in the box. If you can’t read it, use the refresh button or the audio option.
For puzzle-type CAPTCHAs, you usually need to drag a puzzle piece into the correct spot. Match edges or shadows to align the piece properly.
If the CAPTCHA isn’t working, try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, switching browsers, or disabling ad blockers and other security-based browser plugins. A stable internet connection also helps; using a hard-wired Internet connection may work better than a Wi-Fi connection.
