IF THESE INSTRUCTIONS DON'T MATCH WHAT YOU SEE ON YOUR SCREEN...
NOTE: If you are adding a new service contact as part of a case, the system will not send a new notification to the service contact for the previous filings in the case. The newly added service contact will only receive notifications for future filings within the case.
NOTE: Service Contacts added to a case from other efile providers will appear in the case's Service Contacts list in our eFile & Serve system.
At the Dashboard, click on Search cases.
Click on the Location box and select the court, enter a Case Number or Party Name. Once the required fields are entered, click Search.
Click the Actions button to the right of the case and select the View Service Contacts option.
- Clicking Add Me will add the the logged in users' name and email.
- Clicking From Party List will add an email address from the case's Party List (if any are listed there).
- Clicking Firm List or Agency List will add an email from your firm's/agency's Service Contacts list. To learn more about Firm list contacts, click here.
- Some courts allow users to select email addresses from the Public List. To learn more about the Public list (does not appear in all eFiling states), click here.
Otherwise, click Add New Contact. Select the Associated Party that you want to affiliate the Service Contact entry with. (For example: if you are an attorney adding your information to the Service Contacts list, select the Associated Party you represent on the case.) Enter in at least a first name, last name and email. After adding the contact information, click SAVE at the lower right hand corner.
- NOTE: Not all courts allow users to add new Service Contacts.
- NOTE: If there is no input field for an Entity Name (like the name of a company, law firm, or agency) or Firm Name on your Service Contacts window, then you must add part of the entity's name to the First Name field and the rest to the Last Name field to continue.
