You will only be able to remove a service contact you, or someone from your firm, added to the case.
For instructions on how to remove an email from the service contact list of a case, please follow the instructions below:
At the Dashboard, click on Search Cases.
Select the court Location, enter in the Case Number, click on Search.
Once the case appears, to the right of the case number, click on the Actions icon, then select View Service Contacts.
The case's service contacts will then load. Directly to the right of the contact's email, click on the trash can icon to remove the email as a service contact on the case.
IF YOU CANNOT REMOVE A SERVICE CONTACT...
Note: If there is no Trash can icon to the right of the contact email, this means you did not add the contact and you will be unable to remove it. In this situation you will need to complete the Service Contact Removal Form and send it into support to request the contact to be removed.
We can only remove a service contact from your firm from a case. If a service contact from another firm needs to be removed, please contact that firm to have them removed. Once the form is completed and returned, your request will be processed.
NOTE: Anyone who has access to the case can add a Service Contact. We cannot block any Service Contacts from being added to any case.
NOTE: If, upon receipt of your removal request, we discover the contact was attached to the case by the court, we will not be able to remove it. In this situation, we will advise you to contact the court directly to have the contact removed.
