To file your documents, the PDFs you upload to our website must conform to the following format aspects.
- Filename requirements: under 24 characters, only letters and numbers
(No punctuation marks or special characters like ,.'!@#_$%^&*- aside from the period before the "pdf" extension.) - Page size: 8.5" x 11" in Portrait orientation.
- Page resolution: 300 dpi
- Your PDF should conform to your state's/court's file size requirements.

- No unintelligible images must be included in the PDF.
- The PDF should not use unsupported fonts like ZapfDingbats, Wingdings, Symbols, or other symbol-based fonts.
- Your PDF documents should not be password protected.
- Your PDF should contain no active URLs, shortcuts, or hyperlinks (website links).
- Your PDF should be created/produced by Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word.
(We do not recommend using Corel Word Perfect PDF Producer to create your documents.) - Documents with security restrictions or limited permissions may cause errors when uploading them to our system. The most common restriction, as mentioned above, is a password protection on a PDF, though you may also encounter errors if there is an eSignature on your document.
