There may be times when multiple parties need to pay specific additional fees in a given new or existing filing in Butte County, California.
To set this up, click on the Additional Services and Fees tab in the Filings section of your draft envelope. Select one of the fees that allow you to associate the fee with specific parties on the case (indicated by the words Associate Parties).
Click on Associated Parties to affiliate the selected fees with the Parties on the case. If one or more of the Parties needs to use a waiver, select Use Waiver, then select a Waiver Account.
Progress to the Fees page, then fill out the fields on this page by selecting a Payment Account, a Party Responsible for Fees, and (if applicable) a Filing Attorney. Click Calculate Fees. The Fee Breakdown should show the amount of Optional Service Fees along with the Associated Parties. Click the black arrow beside Associated Parties to see who each additional fee is affiliated with.
If you need to edit the Associated Parties these fees are affiliated with, click on Associated Parties.
