To remove/delete a Firm Service Contact from your Firm list,
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines (Menu) located at the top left of the site. Then, select Service Contacts in the dropdown menu.
- On the Service Contacts page, locate the contact you wish to remove (use the filter at the top of the screen to narrow the list of contacts). Next to the contact needing to be removed, select the trashcan icon to delete/remove the contact from your list. Note: Before removing a contact, we recommend you check to see what cases the service contact is attached to (select the envelope next to the trashcan icon). Once a contact is removed, there is no way to recover the contact or a list of what cases the contact was attached to.
- The site will display a list of cases the contact will be removed from. Select Delete Contact to confirm.
- To replace a Service Contact with another, locate the contact you wish to replace and select the replace icon to continue.
- Choose Replace with an existing service contact, select the Service Contact to replace the existing data with, then click the blue Save button to continue.
- NOTE: This function used to be referred to as "Merging" Service Contacts in previous versions of the website.
- If you choose Replace with a new service contact, enter the Service Contact data you wish to use, then click the blue Save button to continue.
