When the filing clerks at the court send an envelope back to you for correction, they often will add a note that says, "Please do not refile this envelope. Instead, make the necessary corrections within your current envelope and resubmit it to us," or something similar.
Unfortunately, envelopes cannot be edited once they have been submitted. If an envelope must be corrected, you must refile the corrections in a new envelope, either by beginning a new filing (if the original envelope was a new filing) or by filing into the existing case anew.
When you file anew, you may want to reference the original filing date and envelope number in the "Comments to Court" input field for your filing.
