When you begin a draft in the site, the system will show you the date and time the draft was created. Once you submit your draft, the date and time will update to reflect the date and time you submitted the draft, which turns into an envelope as a result.
Courts will use the submitted date / time to determine when they received your envelope. The system will only show this submitted date / time once the envelope is submitted as a result for this reason, as well.
For Copied Envelopes: When filers submit a copied envelope, the copied envelope's submitted date will reflect the date/time that the copy was submitted. When the court clerks review the copied envelope, they will get a message advising them that the envelope is a copy of a previous filing. This message will show them the original filing's envelope number, if the clerks wish to review it and to honor the original filing's submission date.
