If you are attempting to sign into an eFile account that has not yet been activated, you will see the site immediately sign out and return you to the log in page before the dashboard loads.
To resolve, you will want to activate your eFile account. The eFile site sends an activation email when first registering for an account. If you were added by a Firm Administrator as a user to their firm account, you will receive two emails. Both emails will need to be accessed to activate the account and be able to sign in.
- Search your email Inbox for emails from "Tyler Technologies" or "tylertech.com."
- Don't forget to search your Junk or Spam folder for the registration emails, just in case!
Additionally, this issue may arise if the user has not been approved by the firm administrator after registering. In such cases, the firm administrator must navigate to the user section and accept them as a user to enable their sign-in access. This must be done at the Legacy version of your state's efiling website.
In the event that a Firm Administrator's approval link does not work, the Firm Administrator should copy the link and paste it into the address bar of their browser to resolve the problem.
- If your state does not have a Legacy version of the efiling website or if your state has already upgraded to the latest version of the efiling website, the Firm Administrator must delete the user whose account is not approved and re-add them to the Firm Users list.
