The Firm Attorneys page is is a list of attorneys in your firm that you can file on behalf of.
- Note: Firm Attorneys are not automatically added as users nor service contacts within the account.
Only Firm Admins can add new attorneys to the account.
To learn how to add an attorney to your firm, please select one of the following options:
FOR MOST STATES
At the Dashboard, click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left of the screen. Click on Firm Management and select Attorneys.
On the right side of the screen, click the +Add Attorney.
Enter in the fields for Bar Number, First Name, and Last Name. Click Save once all fields are entered.
NOTE (for Texas users): Leave off any leading zeroes when entering the attorney's Bar Number.
These functions enable the attorney to appear as a Lead Attorney and Filing Attorney while in the filing process.
FOR LOUISIANA
At the Dashboard, click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left of the screen. Click on Firm Attorneys.
On the right side of the screen, click the +ADD ATTORNEY.
Enter in the fields for Bar Number, First Name, and Last Name. Click Save once all fields are entered.
These functions enable the attorney to appear as a Lead Attorney and Filing Attorney while in the filing process.
