Note: Service by mail is not available in all states yet. If you do not see "Certified Mail" or "Mail" in the drop down for Service Method then your state might not have this feature.
On the Filings page, pick the Filing Type EFile and Serve. Pick the Filing Code that best matches the document you are filing, scroll down and upload the Lead Document by clicking the Add Documents button.
Pick the document, then click the Save button.
At the lower right hand corner, click the blue Service button.
On the Service page, you will see all of the parties listed. If the party has made their information available for service, you will see a blue "Click to Expand" link. Click the "Click to Expand" link and check the box next to each party that you want to serve, or check the "Serve all party contacts" if you want to serve all of the party's contacts. In the Service Method drop down, pick to serve either by Mail or by Certified mail.

Click the Fees button in the lower right corner of your screen.
There is a Mail Service Fee of $3 each document for first class mail or $10 each document for certified mail.
Continue through the Fees section and Submit. You will receive an email notification once the mail is sent.

Q: Who performs the service? Is it the court or Tyler?
A: Tyler uses a third party mailing service called DNI Corp.
Q: How long does it take for mail service to deliver?
A: 2-3 business days for Regular/First Class Mail. 4-10 business days for Certified Mail.
Q: What's the difference between the mailing options?
A: Regular/First Class Mail is not tracked. Certified Mail will provide tracking information in the confirmation email and your envelope details.
Q: Will a Return/Certificate of Service be filed or provided for me?
A: No. You will still be responsible for filing these documents yourself.
