Under Parties, click on the name of the party that the Service Contact is associated with. Verify the appropriate party is selected, click on Save.
Click on the words "Click to Expand" to view the contact(s).
Add Service Contact From Public List
When on the Service tab, under Add Service Contacts, click on From Public List. (Not all states will have a public list option)
The Public List is a list of emails that are publicly available to be added to a case. Enter the name of the contact and click on Filter.
Check box of the contact, then click on Associated Parties.
Select the Associated Party and click Save.
Click on the words "Click to Expand" to view the contact(s).
Add a New Service Contact
When on the Service tab, under Add Service Contacts, click on Add New Contact.
Select the Party to add the contact to, enter in the First Name, Last Name and Email. Click Save.
Click on the words "Click to Expand" to view the contact(s).
- Please Note: You should NOT add opposing sides as contacts to a case unless you are adding them from the Public List. If they are not on the Public List you will need to serve them through traditional methods. The Public list and Add New option vary by state. See What is the Public List? (Service Contacts)
- PLEASE NOTE: Not all courts allow users to add new Service Contacts.
If you add a contact to multiple parties, you will receive a notification for each listing. If you do not want multiple notifications of service, please only add yourself as a contact once.
