When a filer accesses their User Profile data by clicking on their user icon and clicking the "Profile" button, they will see various options like "Profile", "Change Password," or "Email Notifications."
One of the options a filer may see is "Favorites and Defaults" (usually located at the bottom of the list of options to the left of the screen), which allows filers to select certain starting options for new cases, like "Locations" (if they file into specific courts frequently), "Categories," "Case Types," "Filing Codes" (if they file specific types of files commonly), or "Payment Accounts."
Some versions of the efiling system do not feature the "Favorites and Defaults" option, however.

If you do not see the "Favorites and Defaults" option in your User Profile, this is because that option has not been configured for your state's efiling system.
