Some clients may be expecting a constable, a sheriff, or a process server to serve them specific legal papers in person, but those clients may not be at home when papers are served to them and they miss receiving their awaited legal paperwork.
When this occurs, if the client cannot get in contact with the constable/sheriff/process server, then these clients must contact the clerks at the court the case is being tried in for more information or to obtain those documents. In the efiling system, physical service via constable, sheriff, or process server is an additional service that is not handled directly by Tyler Technologies.
