Sometimes, a filer needs to update the email address on their efiling account. By mistake, a filer may list two email addresses separated by a comma or some other special character. (See examples below.)
For Most States
For Louisiana
- PLEASE NOTE: You change your email address at your own risk! You could inadvertently lose access to your account by doing this. Technical Support cannot restore access to the account.
When this happens, a filer will not be able to login because they have changed the email address that serves as a username for their account. (See example below.)
- If the Filer is a Part of a Firm Account: The Firm Administrator will have to change the email address of that user to resolve the error. The user will not be able to login until this is resolved.
- If the Filer is Using an Individual or Pro Se Account: That account is no longer usable. The filer will have to register an entirely new account.
