Sometimes, a filer may already have an efiling account that they haven't used in a long time when they attempt to register a new account. Here's a quick way a filer can find out if they already have an account or not.
Click one of the the Register buttons on the right side of the Landing Page to register either a new Individual or Firm account.
Once you are at the Account Registration page, complete the information in the Account Credentials and User Information sections, then click the blue Register button at the lower right of the page.
If you already have an account, a red error message should appear in the upper right corner of the webpage that reads, "Registration failed: The following error occurred during RegisterUser:  The Email Address is already in use."
If you already have an efiling account, simply click the three-line button (also called a "hamburger menu button"), then click the Landing button on the dropdown menu to return to the Landing Page and sign in.
