Assume you uploaded more than one document to a draft and submitted it, but one of those documents was uploaded by mistake or contains incorrect data. Can you eliminate that document without canceling the entire filing?
As long as the filing is still in "Submitted" status, you can remove that document from the recently-submitted document without canceling the envelope that contains it.
- NOTE: If the filing is in any other status aside from "Submitted", you must contact the court to have that document stricken from the case record. (If the filing has been Rejected, though, then no action need be taken.)
To cancel one document in a recently-submitted filing, follow these instructions:
1.) From the Dashboard: Click View Filing History underneath the Filing History section at the center of the Dashboard.
2.) Locate the recently-submitted filing in question and click the blue circle with a white "X" to the right of the file you want to delete. Once clicked, this will eliminate only that document.
